My '03 chassis/cab DRW, D-max weights 7100 lb with an 8 1/2 ft. Hillsboro alumin platform bed (gooseneck in the trap door).
I think I had a 3ft alumin tool box on at the time, but thats only about 60 lbs., if that.

Actual scaled weights for my 2003 Chevy Silverado 3500 dually, 4x4, extended cab (not crew), with full tank of fuel but otherwise empty.

Front axle - 4000
Rear axle - 3150
Total - 7150 lbs

I would bet a crew cab to be maybe a hundred or two more?

Mine weights 8160 empty. nothing in the bed. I don't know where the low 7's numbers are coming from, I wish mine was that light. John

Arrbee, I have a cb, weights maybe 3lb's, everything else was a replacement for the OE part. I have putco running boards, there heavy but not 1000lb's. John

OK, mine is a "regular" cab. I weighed it at the local sand and gravel pit when I was going to collect a 55 gallon drum full of pea stone. I know they don't "read light" on that scale. I aborted the project when I realized that the plastic drum I had brought only had a 2 inch bung opening, not the open top one I had meant to take (-:

No running boards, no mods, well OK a PTO idle control, just the 3ft alumin underbody tool box.

I weighed mine and it went 7700lbs with me in. I can't remember how much fuel I had. This was at a local scale and I have no idea of the type of certification this scale has. See sig below.........http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cool.gif
