I know this sounds stupid but since all the table are not availaibe in the custom os parts of the tunes is it even possible to make a full blow race tune on one side and still have a completely stock tune on the other? If that even makes any sense

personally on my race tunes I adjust more parameters then the few that are adjusted on the dsp2 and dsp5, so for racing I have a single program that I have adjusted from top to bottom, but I really like the dsp2 and dsp5 for a daily driver, you can have stock and high HP, or whatever combo you desire, just make sure the torque tables are the same so the tranny will not have to relearn and have hard shifting every time you switch it.

stick trucks are stupid, their trannys can't learn a damn thing ):h

I am running a full blown race tune on both sides of the DSP2 switch, I tame down the Throttle Base Injection on one side to make it easier to drive in foul weather.

Yes, Many with the DSP2 do exactly that. And once the DSP5 sofeware is released, things will get a whole lot more interesting. Like have a max rpm, or top speed set so the truck will only move down hill. (This will be good for a theft deterent.) Or setup a tune for the wife/husband/kids/friends so it has even less then stock power.
