I have a 2003 duramax dually with the Z82 heavy duty trailer package. I can not find the fuse for the trailer power feed. Must have blown it at some point. I don't have the terminal setup next to the aux. battery. What is it labeled as or location?

hi,
what do you mean by power feed? do you mean for the trailer brakes/lights?
If so, I have an answer for you. Let me know,
Mike

I believe your "03" is simular to my "02".
Look in the Fuse BlocK Underhood.
The fuse to supply +12V to your trailer is Stud 1 MaxiFuse 40A, (the large size).
I don't believe the truck comes from factory with this fuse installed.

The fuse for your electric trailer brakes is Stud 2 MaxiFuse 30A.

Look in the electrical center under the hood. Not sure how its labelled. Maybe Stud 1. As you look over the fender, its the farthest row away from you, extreme left side. 40 amp. It might be a blown fuse or just a dummy fuse if a real one was never installed.

Thanks guys. I asked my wife again when the lights went out on the trailer. (I don't tow very often, nothing with power) and she says now they have never worked.
Easy fix, no fuse.
