Street Pro (a The Diesel Place.com sponsor) needs your help –We have been asked by many customers to provide inexpensive and easy to use “couplers” or “adaptors” to facilitate the use of our 4” Power Master cutout into GM / Duramax environments without the aid of exhaust shops or welding by the consumer. See the attached photos to understand the "welding" we are refering to. (OK --I know it's a Dodge but the pictuers just came in from Denver last night and it is a very clean job) This will be a part that will allow installation of the cutout by means of “band clamps” . The part will fit over our 4” OD cutout and over the existing GM / Duramax exhaust pipe aft of the down pipe and forward of the muffler and / or cat. The question is: EXACTALY what is the outside diameter of a Duramax powered GM stock exhaust pipe in that location and did the size of this pipe change over the last 2 years? If it’s 4” today, we can provide a 4 to 4 coupler – if it was 3.5” in 2000, we can provide a 4 to 3.5 --- you get the idea – we just need to know what the “standard “ pipe size has been over the past few years --- And before you ask, <B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">NO[/B] we don’t have a 5’ cutout –not yet anyway!http://dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif THANKS FOR YOUR HELP !
