My trans is leaking from the passenger side PTO cover. Is it just as simple as taking the six bolts out and replacing a gasket under the cover?
Will three gallons of ATF spill out when I take off the cover? Asking because I've been looking for an excuse to put my deep pan on that's been in my garage for six months & this seems like a good time to do it.
I really want to avoid taking it to the dealer even though it's under warranty.

Yes, it's as simple as taking the six bolts out and replacing a gasket under the cover and no, the fluid level is much lower so you won't take a bath when you pull it off.
