Hey all,

Wanted to get some opinions on a price I am being offered

2004 HD2500 SLT 4X4. Stock but has all the options including a dealer installed DVD for the back seat. D/A combo with about 50 miles on it.

He is saying MSRP is around $47,805, Invoice around $42,000 minus the HOLD BACK of around $1500. (i dont understand what holdback is) Also, if i do get a deal for say like $500 over invoice as an example, do the $2500 in rebates THEN apply and lower the price?

He is asking $45000.00, does this seem like a fair deal? Without the DVD it is $43000.00

45K is to much in my opinion. If you can neogatite a deal at $500 over invoice i would take it. You will also get any rebates that are offered out there. The holdback is what GM pays the dealer when they sell the truck, if the truck has been sitting at dealer awhile they will be losing money on holdback. Dealer's will usually not budge on holdback money at all. The DVD option is $1295.00 list price to the consumer.
