My buddy just put some camper mirrors off an '05 and put them on his '04. They will extend out, but when you try to extend them in both mirrors themselves fold down almost like for a curb check. He doesn't have a DIC like me where I can see the fold down option. Is there any way to reprogram them with a sequence of things like you do for different power door options or etc.??

what kind of mirrors were on the truck in the first place. if they weren't camper mirrors then both door modules need to be reprogrammed using a tech 2 from your local dealer

you should be able to get the door modules reprogrammed for the new mirrors. you have to reprogram both front door modules as each mirror is programmed by the door module the mirror is on.
