Hi guys, I can get ahold of a 6.5 core that was pulled due to a broken crank (!). What parts should I scavenge that would be of potential use to anyone here?

I was thinking heads, turbo, injectors, and pump. Anything else?

The whole thing. Depending on where the crank broke, and what it hurt, you might be able to put a crank and bearings in and go again. If the block is junk just about every thing could be put to use. Intakes, valve covers, heads, exhaust manifold's and turbo, injectors. Most of just that stuff would be of use for a 6.2 guy looking to turbo. Pull the pan and see whats broke.

Even the block if it's bad could be cut up and used for buoy weights.:)

I would be very interested in the serpentine setup from it if you want to sell it.

I have a 1995 GMC With a 6.5l Diesel. I need the power steering pump possibly. Let me know if this is possible and it will fit my application. Thanks!!
