This company has a kit for the 1500 and by November they will have a kit for our trucks. What are your thoughts on this type of lift kit?

I read about this kit in off road or one of the mags. They really liked it. It sounds interesting and would get rid of the torsion bars hanging down on lifted trucks. Some like the adjustability of the torsion bars.

I see pros and cons... The sub-frame is a bolt together. I've seen guys with the procomp kits sheer of bolt to the sub-frame. I do like the idea of 15" of travel in the front. I've got a rancho kit on my 1500 and the sub-frame is all welded one peice but I dont get 15" of travel. I've done some mod's and added disconnect to get more travel but I have snaped a couple of axles on the trail. I'm pretty hard on the truck andoften considerd putting a solid axles under the front. This kit may be something to look at. good luck..

Once it's all installed and tight, you could always weld the subframe up so it's one piece. Then you might want to remove and have it powdercoated again, but it would be a custom fit at that point, and a lot stronger.
I don't see a lot of subframe parts in those pics though.
My main question is - where do the tops of the coilovers bolt to, and how is that area reinforced if it's at the shock towers? With all that weight in the front of these big trucks, it better be darn stout.
