A friend of mine has a 2003 LB7 that is hard when it is cold it starts good.
45000 miles. He has a juice but no attitude. This just started a couple days ago.
Any ideas?

I just removed the juice and it does the same thing.
He also changed his fuel filter and that never helped.Edited by: Max Power

Possible pump failure? I think I was told something about that when I was having that issue. Changed filter and no issue since..http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif

Could it be that he has some air in the system? Hot seems to exacerbate the problems with air.
Just a thought...
Hey Max,
I was looking in the TSB section and found a link for NHTSA TSB look up. I was looking for stuff that might be pertinent to mine, but it seems like I saw something on the warm hard start thing...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif
This is the link GMCSID posted:

Lots of stuff on there and it just gives a brief description, if you want research on a specific one, it's about $3.00 or something. You might want to take a look.

I had these same problems. The dealership replaced my injectors and problem fixed.
