What should be my first add-on for my stock 02 Duramax?

What are your goals? Daily driver? Towing? Fuel Mileage? Drag truck? Pulling truck?

Daily driver, once a month pulling a gooseneck with 10-15K on it. Wouldn't mind some black smoke once in a while and hearing my turbo a little better! :cool:

Boost and EGT gauges.

That is first on my list but I am debating on pillar guages or juice with attitude. So with that being said, would a programmer be the best first choice? or would Exhaust? or in-take?

I would say exhaust, gauges, tuner.

While all the guys above have good points...if you are looking for gauges...which is a good idea especially if towing heavy....and you want a tuner...i would look into the edge with attitude..yeah some of them do seem to have problems...but then again there are many many satisfied customers...i have had problems with mine and i will still suggest getting one...not only would it be the tuner you are looking for...but also the gauges...and figure that a trippin mount is 100...and egt and boost gauge will set ya back around 150-200...your half way to buying the edge attitude....just my .02

get the edge / attitude. you will have the gagues to watch egt's and you'll love the power. i just installed this unit with a 4" silverline and even on power level 1 this truck is verry responsive. level 3 will cook rubber. this unit has plenty of power to break sh*t if your not responsible. good luck

Gauges, exhaust, tranny, tuner

My route...Air intake, Tuner (level #1) EGT & Boost gauges, Tuner (level #2 ) next is exhaust..then Tuner (level #3)
