How much H/P TRQE will the automatic tranny hold? My business partner has a 2002 8.1 Express 3500 van.Thanks sorry its not a 6.5!!


I believe its the 4L80 that our trucks have

450 ft/lbs torque I think, not sure about the HP.

I think it's about 450-500 tq max but I'm sure they can be built tougher like the non overdrive TH400.
