you dont bleed a commonrail injecton system like old diesels. Try to bleed a commonrail system that way and you will get shot in the face with anywhere from 6,000-23,000psi of diesel.:)

there is a plastic beeder screw on top of the fuel filter housing, open that and pump the hand pump 30 times or so, then close the screw, pump it another 10 times, and then start the engine.
