I am a newbie here :) Just Purchased a 2004 GMC 3500 CC Dually with the LLY (7K miles on it already) I have been deciding on what module to go with. The Edge W/Attitude or the Bully Dog Rapid Power module. http://dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif Any way GREAT forum you have here, I have found myself glued to the computer tha last couple of nights reading all the great post. Thanks again!!

The Edge cannot be 100% removed if you take it to the dealer for any type of service. Other that that it is a very nice unit.

I think you are mis-informed...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif

What makes you think that the Edge cannot be completely removed? Are you referring to the EGT probe? That's easy enough to explain, or it is not necessary to install one if you don't want the additional safety feature it provides.

Other than that, you just un-plug the Juice and pull the Attitude out.

The Edge can EASILY be removed if you need to. I didn't 'permanently' install the Attitude or the Juice, but routed the wires to the Attitude through the dash cover, and under the dash, and the Juice is zip tied to the Underhood Fuse Block cover. I'd be willing to bet that I could have the whole thing out in under 5 minutes, including the time to find a pair of cutters, and including the Attitude.

The install instructions said 10 minute install. Maybe if you are only using one hand! It takes less than a minute to install the Juice or disconnect it.
