I was wantin to know if any one is planin on going to the INDY 4x4 Jamboree in Sep.?

I might be there, dont know yet, what weekend is it??

I think it start's the 24th-26th. We would be comein down satday then going back on that night. let me no have too meet up.

Is there going to be any DHRA events of diesel events at this one? Pulls, Drags, Dyno... anything? I'll be there for sure, was just wondering if there was goin to be anything good to watch.

I think theres going to be pull's there not sure tho. last time i was there there was but its been 2 or 3 years ago sice i went.

I hope there's something there other than just the usual. I went to the Jambo in Lima, Ohio and the DHRA had a tent set up there trying to get some diesel activities goin on. The word at Lima was that there wasnt any intrest in diesel's, that why they didnt have any pulls or anything. They had that dyno there that they use at Muncie, but that was about it. Should'a seen the crowd standing around that thing all day long. But i guess it did some good, b/c I know they had pulls at the one in Canfield, but i didnt make it there. So i was hoping to get to see some sled action at this one! Did you go to Lima, Ohio this year? we went last year i rember there was lot's of diesel there we we went we didnt go this year thohttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Disapprove.gif. I no they have the burn off contest in INDY.

Yah, i went this year to Lima back in May. There's a lot of diesels at the show, but there wasnt any diesel events. No pulls, drags or anything. Ya they had the same old burn off contest and stuff like that. But i would rather see some pulls or drags. The only thing they really had diesel related was the Dyno. And you couldnt hardly get within 30 yards of it b/c of all the people standing around watching. I was talking to Eric McBride at the DHRA tent and he was telling me that the Jamboree people didnt think there was a very large intrest in diesel trucks, so they werent goin to sponsor and truck pulls or anything like that. So he was having people fill out questionairs about peoples intrest in diesel trucks. Must have had some affect, b/c the Jamboree they had in Canfield Ohio a couple months after that had truck pulls with it. So i didnt know if it was something they were goin to continue to do, or if it was just a one time thing. A dyno atleast would be nice, but pulls would set off a jamboree! Edited by: 6.2 Blazer
