I want to eventually install the Juice/Attitude in my new LLY/Alli but I want to be sure and wait until it is TOTALLY safe to install it. What would be the best mileage to install it to ensure that nothing will be harmed and everything is throughly broken in? I want to take the most conservative approach possible.
Thanks.

Whoops this might have been better suited for the power and performance forum. Mods, please move this if that would be best...

You don't have a 0-500 miles option. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cool.gif I installed mine in the dealers lot. http://dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big%20Smile.gif

You said : I want to take the most conservative approach possible. So, I voted for 15k plus. That's the way I do it. However, tons of folks bust the cherry before 2k. It's a doubble EDGEd sword. You have 100k warrenty........ how much will you use? I thought I might use all of mine..........that's why I took the conservative route.

I put it in at 250 miles this morning. I figured if the tranny is still learning, it might as will be productive learning. The exhaust should be here tomorrow. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif

Max Power, if ever I'm in your way just tap your horn twice and I'll move over! http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif Mo power, mo power, mo power! http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Evil Smile.gif
I'm conservative with power upgrades while under warranty. I plan on getting the TTS hand held tow tuner when it comes out, hopefully in the fall. Once I'm out of warranty I may be looking you up. JJ http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

Had mine installed last week at 4000 miles. Has 220 miles on it since the install and no noticeable problems yet. I too am in Tennessee and have a decent installer if you need it.

I installed mine a few days ago with 300 miles on my new truck. The power will spoil you though. 30lbs. of boost!

I put mine on at about 20,000. Would have done it sooner, but thats when they shipped the first batch. Sold the truck this week with 170,000 on it. Pulled the Juice off. Might get another lb7 some day. What a product!!

Those that posted that I should wait until 15k, what is your rationale?

fuel007,
Thanks, I will probably try to install it myself, though.

You may want to feel the truck out first or at least drive it in all conditions before the juice hits. It may help when you "go stock" and return it to the dealer for a problem.
