I got a "Service 4wd" message on the console. Took it into the dealer and they say it needs a new actuator motor. 855 for the part!? Any adivce?

IIRC they are about 400 dollars....thats just off the top of my head though.

This is weird cause mines doin the same thing, Goes into 4hi but i have got the same "service 4wd" message several times. Does yours have problems going into 4lo?

Had the same problem about 9 months ago. Some control module. They changed it and has been working since.
