What do you think would be best drop in replacement air filter. I want one you can clean like K&N (or any cleanable ones). The Fram I mean like Fram Airhog. Please let me know. I know AC Delcos are good but I want something you can clean, not replace everytime.

I went with an AFE. The air flow is good and it does not let near the dirt in the K&N does. If you decide AFE get the Pro Guard 7. K&N has the best air flow but lets alot of dirt pass by. Thier are threads in here that cover alot of info on air filters. Just do a search and read thru them to decide.
you might also look into an S&B filter. from everywhere that i have read they are really good. i just got mine and will put in on tonight. it is supposed to flow 54.8% better than stock and has an effeciency rating of 99.36%. check is out.

you might also want to look at AIRAID, they have a drop in replacement that is re-usable, filtrates down to 2 microns and features there patented "sythaflow" synthetic layer.....

I think some guys had good results with the "oiled foam" types like the UNI filter. I'd probably go that wrote before K&N, or fram.

I think the factory filter is very good but my point is it will be cheaper in long run if I can get one I can clean, not throw away and spend another $20-$25. However, I don't want one that is going to let lots of dirt in.
I have brute force ( can't think of who makes it ). Seem to work just fine. Lets the cooler out side air too the filter.. Arm

The new Amsoil EaA Air filter is re-useable/cleanable with a vacuum cleaner, has a 4 year 100,000 mile warranty, and tests better than any other drop in filter that I have seen. SPICER
