I will going to pick up my new 07 Dmax friday and first stop is at the tire store to get the training wheels off. I want to know what you guys think about going with BFG 285's or 295's? Also, blackwall in or out? The truck ie greystone met.

Either is fine depending on whether you want a slightly wider tire or not.

Wider is better intill it rubs:D

285s black out, black out is becoming more popular, but i would go with 285s reason being is the width. the stock wheels are only 6.5" wide

I like the 305/70 on stock wheels. Blackwall out of course

I'd also wouldn't go any bigger than a 285 on a stock rim but I like white letter out.

I ran 285 on stock wheels for 2 years and then went to the 295 on an 8 1/2" wide wheel. Both black wall out. I would stay 285 on stock wheel.

I have the same truck in black and just bought 22" rims and plan to purchase 285/45/22 for them. I lowered the back of the truck to level it up and I dont wanttoo much tire sticking out on the front end (due to wider stance there). Rims are +25mm offset to keep it as tight as I can. I also like the tire to be not too wade to minimze the tracking the wider wheels do on rutted pavement etc.
