I lready know the answer to this but my dad won't listen.


He thinks that he can just upgrade the computer in his 02 lby with the computers from an lly to get the torque increase. I have told him that there were a number of new sensers and other changes that would make this impossible. I told him to just get the juice but maybe if somone here can tell him "no" maybe he will listen. I really don't want him to go tho the dealer and make a fool of himself.

Right off the bat, the LLY uses a variable vane turbocharger and has EGR. Not compatible. No worky.

The LLY uses a new 32 bit Delphi computer with all new programing, your LB7 ECM's are 16 bit computers. That's why it's taking the aftermarket power enhancer folks so much time to come out with the mods for the LLY.
