What setting to use for cruising cross-country in an empty truck without a load for the best fuel ecomomy. I have a 2,000 mile trip coming up and would like to hear from anyone with a Hot/Attitude setup that could shed some light on this. I personally have not found a setting that makes much difference at all so far. I usually run 72-75 or so.

If most of it is highway, I wouldnt expect to see a big difference between the levels. I just run level 3 most of the time and turn up the heat to the next level when needed.

That's what I figured, but just thought I'd ask. I've tried 1 - 3 for cruising and didn't see any difference at all. I've not tried 0 yet though and was thinking about that for a long run of straight highway cruising.


Notice you said "Transgo waiting to be installed". Are you doing it yourself?

I seriously think I am getting a hair better running on the 125 hp level than the 90 hp level??? Dont think there is much difference any way you go though

I am looking at convertors right now and will most likely do the install myself.
