alright i know most people might think black smokin is just stupid,but... can the fuel b turned up just enough to make my 6.5 black smoke like a cummins. it will black smoke when u lug it but it has spells where it will blacksmoke good when ur gettin on it goin down the road, could it be that my turbo is not workin all the time, not that i mind i think the smoke is cool but i dont want it to screw sumthin up. but after i let out on it and slow down i can hear the turbo so could it b its not workin when ur puttin it under pressure. it wont do this all the time just every now and then. any body know if u can make ur turbo louder without havin to spend 3 or 400 dollars and without havin to tear the engine down makin mods

QM's resistor on B wire from Map mod would do the trick for about $2.00. cheats the computer into thinking you have less boost than you actually do so you get more turbo spooling and naturally more whistling.

10k ohms is good w/o intercooling. 25k ohms max with.


adding a baro resistor may allow more.


john kennedy and ronnie joe should be able to say more on this.





Since you have the 94 like me you have the baro on the firewall that looks like a MAP, if yours is an L65 not sure about L56 baro is a little different, you can resist the "B"wire on it as well. I'm not sure of the resistance, havn't exprimented with it yet.
