if i was to get a K & N filter and a chip for my 6.5 could it take it without havin any more mods

Overheating is the only thing your truck can't take. 240+ deg F can crack the heads.


Also a bad harmonic pully/balancer or tensioners can lead to cracked mains, broken crank. With the engine idling look at the pulls and belt opperation for whobble, vibration.
