Ok, i think i am convinced on the ATS Trans with the TripleLoc convertor, what would i expect for prices for a shop to install this kit? Also, with these 2, what programmers should i run? I was looking at the Torque Commander on the ATS site along with the Edge Juice. Would these work together? I was also looking at the Duramaxamizer. These will be run with an AEM intake and stainless exhaust, and used for pullinghttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Evil Smile.gif, draghttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Angry.gif, and around town driving. Thanks for the input

The torque commander is a module, as is the edge juice. Either one of them has built in gauges. So I would only get one or the other. The torque commander is a little stronger in the comp version than the juice is.

Somonauk? weres that? Out in cornville somewere?

The deal with ATS is there are lots of people that love em, a few that have em or had em and they didnt like the way they shifted. Also, and I'm just going on hersay here.....the suncoast frictions are supposedly higher quality. Duno....I've just seen suncoast clutches and they do look purdyhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cool.gif

For the moduel the juice(especially hot) is nice in the way of adjustibility and all its features and its a good driver program IMO.

Intake wont net power IMO

Do the info searching now and wait till you buy the truck.....things change rapidly in dmaxville, whats the set up today may be old news tomarrow, dont get your mind made up yet.

Welcome BTW Had to wait till I was 22 before I could afford my dream truck and I have it now.....loving every minute of ithttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cool.gif Good luck in your search, dont get in a rush to get one, get the right one. Even buying new you have no idea what a PITA it was trying to find a reg cab duramax with the requirements of reg cab and black, past that I was pretty open.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif

Wow I'm not the only youngin' on here. I bought my '04 on my 24th b-day. I worked up to it though.............99 GMC Sierra, 02 GMC Envoy(don't know what I was thinking),02 GMC Sierra and finally my 04'. No matter what you decide for on power, DO THE TRANS FIRST!!!! And remember power is very addictive so get the "biggest" trans upgrade you can afford. Have fun. Edited by: Carbon04

I agree with getting the most trans you can afford and always get more trans capacity than you are planning on making power wise.
