Back in Oct,my carrier bearing went out and I replaced it with a NAPA unit. Well it's out again and I'm not very happy about it. What I'm wondering is if I could get a 1-piece shaft built,considering it's an Ex-Cab LB? I believe the carrier just doesn't like the power I'm running or the use it gets. Any thoughts?

Yes, you can. I have an 2001 CC/SB so yours should be the same lemgth. I found a guy on Ebay that builds aluminum shafts. He actually built me an OEM Spicer driveshaft to replace my crappy 2-piece. I have had it for almost 2 years now with no problems. Here is a link to a current auction of his:
