I have an 04 2500HD SB/EC with 1400 miles on it and need to know the recommended D/A towing break-in procedures. From scanning the posts, I have learned that when towing you keep it at or under 50MPH for the first 500 miles of towing. The owners manual says the same thing, but I did not get the diesel supplement with my manual. Hope to pick that up tomorrow. Am I correct in the above? yes, and no towing. If you have 1400 miles on it, the break in period is over.
