I just installed my new gauges this past weekend. I am currently running around 200F at idle, 350-400F at 45-50mph,650-700 at 65-70mph, and around 11-1200F at WOT depending on how long I hold it (the WOT is with 5psi of boost). Is this normal with a stock setup of exhaust and everything? Just would like input. Remember, these are approximate figures, I can't remember the exact numbers off the top of my head.
Thanks a bunch, Jacob

These figures sound about right. With more boost, it is very likely that you will see a drop in the EGTs at WOT. Watch those EGTs! At 1200*, you are pushing the envelope.

1200 is pretty much the max. I have yet to get higher, not only because I don't want to , but because I don't know if they will. This 1200 or around there was experienced at about 85mph (and thats about all she's got with the 4.10's, maybe 90). The only thing I am trying to fix now is that rediculously low boost. Either my exhaus is screwed up, or something with the vac system. I am in diagnostic mode right now. Everything else seems to be working fine though.
Thanks, Jacob

Is that pre turbo or post turbo numbers?

It is tapped into the manifold just like the one in the thread in the faq section.

That's pre turbo. Should be hotter than post turbo.
When I first installed my gauges I was surprised how high the EGT's were on the stock truck. It seems you could definitely do some damage to a stock truck under a heavy load. Good thing is a soon as you stop increasing speed it cools off.
