Hi every one Im new here and have a question. I bought a 2004 2500hd. Ive had it for 2 weeks and I love it. I seen a post on here earlier about dual exhaust. I was thinking about going with the Ats dual exhaust. I like how it splits in the muffler and not after the muffler. But I wanted to know if any one has one or seen one at work. Let me know what you think Thanks.

I've installed quite a few of them, and have one on my personal pick up. To me this is the best system I've ever installed or sold. MBRP are making great strides in their products also. I like the sound of the ATS better than any of the others I have installed. ATS is pretty pricey though. tpitt
As tpitt says, it's pretty pricey but a nice system. I went up there and talked to Steve, the owner, about a system. He's got it on his Dodge driver and it sounds nice on the Cummins and is really well made, but I didn't like the tips...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Dead.gif
I asked if there was any other tip style available and he got upset with me, and the price went up $150.00 on the CAT back system I wanted...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif
There's also a possible problem if you plan on running one of the hidden gooseneck type trailer hitches such as the B&W with duals. Not sure if the ATS will clear or not, but IIRC the MBRP system won't.

muskrats,
Check out the link below for a review of the MBRP dual systems:

Zeeb,
We have sold a lot of the Duramax duals and not had anyu clearance issue with the B&W or other "hidden ball" hitches, what did you run into?

Mark,
I talked to several local installers, exhaust and hitches, and the shop who did the B&W hitch for me. I showed some of them pics of the systems I'd seen here.
While no one mentioned specific brands, those who had tried it indicated that there would be a fit problem with the hidden type hitches and duals. Two of those shops said it could be "made to work" but that approach is not one I'm usually inclined to take, so I opted for the single.
If your system will clear the hitch stuff, I'm sorry if I pointed muskrats in the wrong direction, but that's why I put the IIRC in the post. It's been awhile since I chased that info down...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif

Zeeb,
No problem and no offense taken, just wanted the membership to know that from all the systems we have sold it hasn't been a problem. You do have to really take your time and look at it as you install it to think about how the suspension compresses etc but it fits and does well.
That's the great thing about a site like this, everybody gians form info from all over the world!!
