We're looking at getting a Dmax/Allison crew cab dually, gotta be black, cloth interior would fine, preferably with dual bench seats.

We were looking used, but what is the best price we could expect to find on our combo? Anyone know of one sitting somewhere?

Thanks for the help!

I don't believe they make the dual bench seat set up anymore. I think they are all atleast some sort of split seat set up or buckets.

I would suggest your local truck trader magazine or call Lawrence Marshall in Hempstead Texas. They can usually find anything you are looking for. I don't know where you are but they can find it and it will be worth a try. Hope that helps. Also take 56's advice try truck trader.com... They always have stuff on there... Also not sure if you have looked but lots of stuff on ebay too and most of them are dealers who might be willing to work with you on delivery...

I come to the table with bias....... but the 2002 Chevy trucks
look beautiful! Plus they are more reasonable than the
used 2003 or 2004. Edited by: 56Nomad

My 2004 2500HD Crew has dual benches. It's worth "losing" the console because you have more room and the same amount of storage space. Plus you can pack in 5 people instead of 4 then.

Find a dealer that will order you a new truck just the way you want it for invoice price or just over. You'll get exactly what you want, brand new, and most likely for less than a used one. Mine is a year old with 30K+ and still books for more than it cost me.

spoolinturbo,

When you say you have dual benches do you mean that the front seats and the rear seats are both benches?

I thought that these style of trucks had split seats and not a true bench like on the older styles.

My 03 regular cab has the new type of bench seat it really does suck. It 2 buckets with a little jump seat in between. the cup holder is at front of the jump seat and you have to reach between the legs of the guy in the middle to use it. I guess gm caters to the yuppies that make a real work truck.

We've got a really good friend of ours that gets a GM employers discount and has certificate we can use...so, can someone "ballpark" me a price on a black, LS, Duramax/Allison crew cab, 4wd, dually? Also, can you use the rebate (currently $2500?) with the GM employers discount? What are the odds of finding one close to this on the lost? We've found a deck-out used '02 for high $20s, but wanted to see how much difference between it and a new one...

Thanks!

Just called a dealer about an hour from here...they said $38,000 would be pretty close with the GMS discount, but there are NO 2004s left so we're gonna have to order a 2005, which means 6-8 weeks, and there's only a $1000 discount on the '05s right now.

All of this sound about right?

Don't know where you are located but if in the SouthEast or willing to travel try "Bruce Glueck Chevrolet" in Jasper, FL. Anytime of the year he is invoice plus $29.00 add tax, title and tag fees and you are on your way. Check out his web site. I've purchased 2 vehicles from him and you can figure your own costs before you talk to him and he'll be right on your figure plus a or minus a buck . You have to order the vehicle as his inventory is not much nor is his showroom. The vehicle will be nicely detailed and full of fuel. The service department is small but most of his buyers are from out of town so guess, once the deal is done, you'll probably never see each other again until you are ready for a new unit. He does not like trade in's so sell your old unit outright and do a no trade in buy. You can do the whole buy by telephone and mail.
