I recently bought an '04 2500HD. The initial purchase was a bad experience, but the dealership got things right (new passenger window module and lube the intermediary shaft). I noticed an additional problem this week. I get out of the truck, use the keyless to lock the doors, go into where-ever, come back out, hit the unlock button, and the passenger mirror automatically moves to the bottom right. This happens everytime, and I have to reset it everytime.

Try setting the driver 1 and 2 settings.
Sounds like something is stuck in the switch or its programmed that way. Like I said try setting the driver settings.

It sounds to me that the backup mode is on, where when you put in reverse the mirror turns to the curb. Try going through your menu on steering wheel to check DIC.The only thing that confuses me is bottom right, and not left. If that is the problem. My 2cents

I thought that was the problem at first and tried putting it in reverse to check, but nothing happened. I'll see if making some changes in the menu helps.
Shakes, that makes sense, but I thought those settings were only for the seat? Excuse my ignorance on these trucks. I got in it for the first time at the dealership and was overwhelmed with buttons, so I'm trying to figure it all out. I didn't realize these trucks came loaded like this.
