Has anyone replaced the factory gauge face with the aftermarket ones like from www.nuimage1.com (http://www.nuimage1.com) . I looked at mine and I even pulled off the fuel pin and it took quite a bit of time to finally get it right where it was supposed to read. How do you realign the pins properly? Any Pics? Thanks

The easiest way to do this is to make a note pad and write down where they all are on the gauge cluster and draw them out too, you could even go as far as taking a digital close up picture, then pull them off, peel back the cover, reinstall new cover and reinstall pins. It is simple. I did my old one before I finally started getting new clusters.. Easier that way....

Thanks for your input. I might think about a good digital picture. I had thought about it.
Thanks

I didn't like the blue look at night. The daytime look was awesome.
If you do it follow the instructions.
Top off fuel tank.
While engine is COLD turn key to run position take PIC or draw diagram of needle positions.
It's real easy to do but I'd recommend getting a drop in from JP customs.
I have to take the time one of these days and put my stock face back together.

So....is it really blue? Or is it like the blue haze the attitude puts off. I woulda thought if it matched the attitude it would look sharp.

Do you have a url for JP customs? I did a google search and came up mpty. The VW I have has bule dash lights and I really like them, they are easy on the eyes. The C2 gauges I installed are blue too, that is why I want to change the whole dash.

Can anyone help me I'm looking for face I saw when browsing around for a truck(the truck sold so now I can't find the pic again...) but it looks like the one pictured below but was in a dark gray or silver color. Someone please post a name link phone # or anything if they know where to find it.

I did the Nuimage face replacement and liked it...even kinda liked the blue at night, and yes it is VERY blue at night. Problem for me was after running it at night the speedo would stick because I was getting a bubble from the heat from the lights. I ended up going with the replacement white guages from JP....I recommend his stuff as well.
