Where is the best place to put an antenna? Anybody have any pics of there truck with an antenna?

I took a piece of flat stock aluminum and made my own base. Screwed it right into the bed. It looked good too. emerson 01-18-2007, 11:18 PM Most people that use a VHF mount the antena on the driver's side on a bracket that sticks up between the hood and fender.
