Got the juice tonight and got her hooked up and even managed a few runs. Don't have the attitude or pyro hooked up yet ? I got the ATS overhead mount, how are you running the wire through the firewall and how does the attitude mount into the mount and how does the mount mount into the overhead? Guess I'm lookin for directions to run wire from engine bay into cab upto attitude, then mounting attitude into mount and mounting it into the overhead consule. Could figure it out myself and probably screw something up, lookin for experience here. Already buggered up the attitude wire trying to push it into the ATS mount.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif PS, ran level 3 in normal tranny mode and got 16.1 at 91mph on gtech, then got jumpy and ran level 4 in tow haul mode and got 15.7 at 94 mph--catchin rubber in two gears! The truck stock ran 16.6 on the g-tech. Gotta run it more to let tranny "learn".

I had to read the instructions a "couple" of times before I realized how easy it was to route to cable for the attitude. The cable does not go through the firewall, with the drivers door open it simply passes through to the engine compartment. It is very simple, and easy to uninstall if you go to the dealer.

A couple of suggestions...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif

First, you have to open the Attitude case in order to get it into the ATS mount. I asked Edge about voiding the warranty if I open the case to install it, and they said no problem. That's the only way you get it into the ATS mount.

You have to pull the overhead console down. There's a screw on the front of it and clips on the rear, one on each side, just pull it straight down after you remove the screw. You'll have to cut out the black plastic piece that forms the cubby hole for the console in order for the ATS mount to fit in.

Second, you can run the Attitude cable through the door hinge, or some of us are running it through the firewall at a large grommet covering a wire harness right above the under dash fuse panel. Pull the cover off it, then it lifts out of it's mounts and you can see the grommet. That puts you out just right for the Juice if it's on top of the UHFP.

There's enough cable on the probe to use the passenger side location for the probe install, and the new Attitudes have enough cable for the ATS mount install and running to the Juice without an extension like the earlier ones had.

Have fun...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif

i bought an overhead brushed aluminum mount for my attitude. The cable runs under my headliner and out the door thru the hood into the engine. It is a sweet setup. Cant comment on the ats since i dont have it. You do have to take out the black junk drawer for the mount to fit. But i dont nead any junk in the truck!

Zeeb, that is what I was thinkin about doing, taking apart the attitude, but was not sure about it. thanks, I figured out the cable routing through the grommet--the door way bothers me. Now, when I get the over head down and remove the inner black piece, does the ATS mount just pop right in? What holds it in there? Those switches are really cool, just need to figure out somthing to use them for!? PS, the EGT probe will be next--gotta find Hoots method--and review it.

Yes the ATS mount just pops in to the overhead console. Kind of a press fit so you have to work it just a little, but friction is what holds it in place.

edit:

I tracked down Hoot's how to for you...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif

Got er done! Everything went perfect. About 300 miles with the combo installed. Have not seen EGTs above 1050 running level 3 at WOT. One question though, does the edge/attitude mess with the DIC? cause my fuel mileage is doing weird things and my oil life reset itself to 99%!?
