I have taken a LLY out of an 05 rolled vehicle and am putting it in to a homemade fertilizer application buggy. I am very early on in the process and am starting to hear horror stories already. I am looking for any advice on helpful steps to save me some headaches. Some of areas the stories are coming from are Pass lock, Electric shifting Allison, Wiring issues, etc. Like I said any advice would be great. Thanks,

use everything you can from the wrecked truck especially the wiring harnesses and modules. A friend of mine put one in his motorhome and it works fine. great mileage and all that. JUST USE EVERYTHING YOU CAN FROM THE DONOR

We have as many donor parts as we can get our hands on. Can anyone inform me of what sensors I have to have to even make this thing run. I am wanting to run as bare bones as I can. Thanks

There is a member here that swapped an LLY into suburban and has a lot of experience on what it takes to make it work. Cant remember the member or the thread but it wasnt too long ago that he completed it. A search may turn it up.
