I know adding the edge box messes up the fuel calculator, right? And there is no real way to fix this with programming (aka through the attitude, etc), right?
My question is this: Does it only mess up the calculator when it is on a power level? If you turned the edge box down to "0" power level then would the calculator function correctly?

Not really. The algorithm between the pedal, pulse width and timming will still be off. The "0" setting still has some timming applied... I'm pretty sure. Most trucks will dyno about 240ish with no box and 250ish with a box set to ZERO. I think..... I think the 0 setting is still advancing timmimg, giving about 16 or so extra pony's. However, if the truck is on 1&1....you might get better MPG's. The + timming should yeild a better burn, a little hotter. It may or may not throw the truck out of teir II compliance? I think the N03 or ..eh... Noxide gassess will increase, the stuff that eats the upper atmospheir layer......... Something like that.
Hopefully someone like JK will chime in and let us know the exact answer.
