My son has a STOCK '02 D'max with ORIGINAL injectors (65,000 miles) and recently has noticed some SMOKING cruising at 2000/2200 rpm,unloaded.I know the injectors are warrantied to 200k....He's looking for a GM dealer who has a good reputation for dealing with warranty issues such as this.

It is a long way west on I40, but I usually have good luck with Bell and Howard Chevrolet in Statesville. I have never bought a vehicle from them although I've had several serviced there. They are also a medium duty seller, so they understand Duramax's. They did have 2 Dmax only mechanics. That makes me feel very comfortable they know something about our trucks.
