I was at the truck shop yesteday, Truck Toyz of Bend, and they had a brand new redesigned Fabtech 6" lift on display. They said it was just released last week.
The kit is the same as the old one, EXCEPT, it only increased the track width 1/2" on each side, and it has new redesigned knuckles. I looked at the CV spacer, and sure enough if was only 1/2."
Just another lift option for you guys looking to lift:)

Sorry,
It was the 8” Fabtech kit that has the problem. It uses the 6” knuckle instead of a new 8” knuckle. The subframe is dropped 2 more inches than the 6” kit, as well as the knuckle is dropped down 2 more inches. So imagine the tie rod receptacle on the spindle is now 2” lower than it should be=horrible tie rod angles and blows through steering components especially when cranked up.

I see. Yeah, I had the 8" kit on my '02 HD and hated it for those exact reasons. I ended up de cranking it and running it as close to 6" as possible.
