: Hot Juice vs. Juice

I've got the standard Juice and Attitude. When I bought, I remember hearing about a "Hot Juice", which was a little...spicier.

Anyone running the Hot juice that started with the standard Juice? Believe it or not, I've never had my tranny slip into limp-home mode. And I've stuffed it from a dead stop in level 5 all the way through 90 mph on several occasions. Even roll-ons in 5th gear won't get it to slip.

Therefore, I wouldn't mind the Hot juice upgrade, but want to be sure there will be a noticeable difference before I go spend the money.

Any help?

Thanks,

Terel

I have the Hot juice at 120 and LOVE the power. I have the Suncoast 3 onboard as well. I did not start with the regular juice, and I am glad that I went right to the Hot Juice. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Star.gif

I have had a Hot Juice since Sept. 2002..........

It is far better than the standard Juice for power..........and a HOT/Attitude L5 with a Suncoast Tranny is way better than without a tranny.........http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Embarrased.gif

Just remember that the Hot Juice will put more power to the tranny than a stocker can handle long term.

The 90HP juice setting should be fine or standard 120HP Juice/L5 is probably all you handle without a tranny upgrade.

You WILL roast your stock tranny with the hot juice and attitude. It's just a matter of time. It is WAY to much power for a stock allison,

You do need to be careful with how you apply power. I keep mine at the 90HP level most of the time. Don't do any full stall 4WD launches, you will slip the tranny.

The biggest difference I notice between the 90 HP setting and the 125 HP setting is the 90 HP level really starts to lose its good aceleration past 70-75. However the 125 HP level will pull hard past 90.

This is exactly as expected, as more HP usually makes a rig run noticably better on the top end.

Would I notice a difference by going to the 145 HP level compared to the 120? I dont know if the cost outweighs the added fun factor. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif

Yes you will notice a difference. The so called 145 will actually do 160-180+on most trucks. It will also smoke a lot more.

Again, this will do a number on your stock allison. Not the first time, not the second time but down the road, you will be spending money on the transmission.

I already have Suncoast 3 on board. Would I notice that much Max Power?

Yes. Especially with a level 3.

Getting that level 3 really keeps your power. Before you would definately notice the loss.

Thanks for your help MAx Power with your help on the lights.
