Sorry to talk about cold weather in August, but was wondering if it is agood idea to run a winter front on a 6.5 .It is only for local driving and light high way driving. (OH its a 99 express)

Is it cold there too? It is only 54° here right now.

I would say use it. I got stopped for speeding in january and was almost freezing before the cop was done. (The temp gauge was almost to the bottom)

during my years in Alaska driving 6.2 diesel's I used them for winters but that was much colder. I would be afriad that it might over heat in these warm winter temp's down here. so just keep an eye on the temp. gauge
