What is the right way to adjust clutch linkage? I converted over to an SM-465 and this is the first time I've had to deal with clutch linkage. Eventually I want to convert it to a hydraulic set up, but I just don't have the $$$ for that now.

I just installed a new throwout bearing over the weekend and I am hearing rub againt the pressure plate. I know that's where the noise is from because it goes away when I put slight pressure on the clutch pedal. I first adjusted the linkage so there was no slop, and that wasn't right. I then found the haynes manual and ajusted it that way and I can still hear it. (I took all the carpet out and I can hear every little noise and that one is very annoying.) Should I adjust it with a little more play in the linkage?

Also, on the clutch return spring, there should not be any tension on it when the clutch is engaged, right? Where about on the frame is the spring supposed to attach? I want to get it right this time so I don't have to worry about replacing the throwout bearing soon.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. THanks!!!
