I recently purchased a non-lux tnr on e-bay. I paid extra to have the seller clear the VIN info from the radio before shipping it.

I got the radio and it installed just fine, as though it was a new radio, no programming needed.

Is the guy using a tech II to clear the VIN info, or does anyone know if there is another way to do this (pulling CMOS battery, jumper setting ect)?

I might end up with an extra TNR and I would like to clear it before selling it to make it an easy install for whoever buys it.

I am also looking for information on how to get a service manual for the 03-06 TNRs.

Tech 2 is the only way to clear the VIN

Do you know the procedure to clear the VIN with a Tech 2? I have the one to re-pair the radio to the vin, but I want to remove the VIN pairing info so it is a plug and play install.
