I am considering putting a strip of RED only or Red/White reflective tape above my bumper, but below the tailgate on my truck. This is the same area where the 3500s have the set of 3 lights.


Has anyone else done this and do they have photos? I do remember one member who put like a long LED bar or something there, which is what I like the best, but Figure it may cost too much.

I've got a Line of Fire that I bought from Acme Truck Parts. Stylin Concepts, JC Whitney and others are selling it for $99.99 - it was $74.98 from Acme - good folks. I wired up the connection for mine after installing the bar and found a bad (unlit) section on the right side. Called Acme, they referred me to Line of Fire, they shipped a replacement no questions asked and a prepaid UPS sticker to ship the defective one back in the same tube when I received the new one. It will not be "passive" like the tape, but is very cool when powered - lights all the way across under the gate with the lights, brightens all the way across with the brake lights, and half of it blinks with the associated turn signal.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cool.gif
