I broke my drivers side factory a-pillar cover that my gauge pod attaches to. Now it take $1.28 to hold up the gauges. :o: Does anyone know if someone makes a one piece instead of a lay over or do I need to get a new a pillar cover from the GM house?

Get a new pod, 30 bux if that as long as you get it without the speaker, that can be cut in if you have it. W/ Speaker, they are in teh 170 range IIRC.

So they make a 1 piece that I can get? My gauge pod is fine, but where the factory one snaps into the a pillar itself is broken. So my choices are getting a one piece pod, if they make one, or a new cover.

Mine is the same way, I read somewhere on here that you can epoxy the clip back to the cover. I haven't tried it yet but need to...
How is $1.28 holding your cover up???

Several quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies.... Took a while to adjust. I think I will just buy a new factory pillar cover and hack it up to accept my gauge pod.

I use two zip ties to hold the clips in place when they won't hold any more. They seem to work well for me

He is looking for a one piece affair that would replace the original pillar and the Autometer cover.

That's correct, but I don't think them make one. I think the factory piece that is broken is $22 online, so that will be the cheaper route. Still need that metal clip in there too as mine got bent. It will be painful to buy a new one and then hack it up to accomodate the gauges. Oh well, hopefully it won't need to come apart again and won't break again.

I picked up a spare with the clip at the local salvage yard for 25 bucks. May be worth a try...
