Thanks for the help!!!

Today it was around 30 degrees, I went to start the truck up and it started and then 2 seconds later it died and did not start. So after looking and checking I had to go to the last resort, starting fluid. The truck started right up and not another problem. Can you give me any ideas? maybe glow plugs ice in the fuel filter I dont know please help!!!!

It could possibly that the glow plug controller or the glow plug relay may not be functioning properly. The fuel filter may also be clogged

Starting fluid is a huge no-no, not in any engine with glow plugs. You can blow a headgasket or worse. Ether does not combine well with glowplugs. Starting fluid is fine on any diesel without glowplugs, as it will not detonate and wreck your engine. What kind of dodge?
