Before I allow my local Chevy dealer tear my new truck apart, I just wanted to know if anyone else has had any issues with antifreeze leaking from what appears to be the driver side back corner of the engine block, where the head meets the block. The truck has 8800 miles. I noticed the coolant on the front differential while installing my MBRP exhaust system. I appreciate any help you can give me. I read the TSB about the new head gasket design. I'm curious to know if anyone has had this problem corrected with any success -- did your truck run the same after being ripped apart and reassembled? Thanks, IMOGRAS

Working on a LB7 with a coolant leak at the front of the head on the pass side... coming from head gasket. Sent head out to machine shop and checked the block appears to just be a head gasket.
Its possible that the leak at the back of the block could be a leaking freeze plug in the head running down the head and around the gasket mating areaand leaking down, but you really cant see the freeze plugs.
