Up in the Hill Country around here for the weekend and the truck ran great as usual. 90k and have run 3 versions of Juice since 6k with no major problems. Now running latest Hot w Attitude for the last 4 months with NO problems.

Since the Attitude I always go to level 0 in the hills, just to sensitive and too much power for rock crawling in 4wd. In and out of 2wd -4wd high 8 or 10 times throughout the weekend and never got over around 15 mph. Got ready to leave and when I hit the county road at around 30mph, a horrible metal clashing noise began and the more throttle I applied the truck fell back like I was breaking. I thought the Allison was about to fall out. Stopped and the noise went away and everything was fine for the 120 mile trip home at 75.

Once back in town and at a light this terrible noise started again when I began to move. The more I pushed the pedal the slower the truck would go with the noise increasing. I rolled down the window and discovered it to sound like injectors........Juice in level 4, this time the SES light comes on. All injectors replaced 4 months ago.

Turned the truck off and restarted, all being fine now. Pulled the Juice out when I got home and after a few hrs. the SES light is now off and the truck runs fine. Seems to feel pretty gutless but hard to tell after running the Juice.

Tech ll turns up Camshaft Position Sensor set two codes. Dealer has no clue. Ran all day with no problem and no Juice. Plugged the Juice/Attitude back in and ran for a few hrs. slowly working up to level 4. Ran easy and then ran it hard with no problems. Hmmmmmmmmmmm!

Any Ideas?

Thanks.......Billy

Call edge while you are at it too. Perhaps they have encountered this before.

dmaxalliTech & Max Power,

Thanks guys, I put the Juice/Attitude back in this afternoon and ran the truck for about 3 hrs. Started in level 1 and worked up all the way to 5 with grandma driving and an occasional romp. Smooth as silk like it always has been and lots of go. Don't really understand what could have gone wrong or caused the problem yesterday. Think I'll take it back to the dealer and let them look around. That's about all they said they could do for now. If it does it again I'll pull the Juice off for a week as you suggested. Will be calling Edge today.

On Edit: Maybe Fingers has something with a loose connection but I don't have a clue where the Cam Sensor is located. This is really rough country to a point where you can hear the body pop with torsional twisting.

Thanks again..........Billy Edited by: bhowell
