: Spray-in bedliner
STROKE THIS DMAX 01-14-2007, 12:25 PM Whats the best spray-in bedliner? Looking at Line-X cause its the closest, but a friend of mine has had good luck with Zbarts or however its spelled.
Please throw some info at me.
Thanks
Max Power 01-14-2007, 12:28 PM The most popular vote will be Line-x.
jimmyjones 01-14-2007, 12:29 PM Line-X is the only kind I will get. This is my third truck with it. Way better than Rhino. It is not rubbery or sloppy. It is always neatly sprayed on and has a rough texture.
jevanb 01-14-2007, 12:57 PM line x 3rd truck with and nothing but good
thejdman04 01-14-2007, 02:02 PM Ive gotton 2 rhinos and "turbo z" in my trucks next one will be linex never had them before but cant be anyworse then the ones Ive bought
EricJS 01-14-2007, 04:07 PM I have no personal experience with them, but I have been doing research for over a week. Out of hundreds of posts and dozens of reviews and articles, Line-X is the one I'm going with. It is definitely the favorite among people who haul a lot of damaging materials and still want their bedliner to look new. Excellent durability, fade resistance, and warranty.
One thing to pay close attention to, no matter what you go with- make sure the dealer who applies the stuff is very experienced and detail oriented. That will make the most difference in how it will look.
Good luck with your decision.
BudTX 01-14-2007, 04:30 PM There was a very recent discussion about this very topic here:

Line-X still gets my vote.
schulte 01-14-2007, 04:39 PM can we pick out one of the best linex-rhino-duraliner threads, and then sticky it? maybe with a poll?
this question comes up once a week, without fail.

Agreed... I have a rhino and the bed was not properly prepped. The lining did not adhear to the bed and keeps coming up.
Line-x next time
Hotwater 01-14-2007, 06:31 PM Line X for me
Sure beats the old bed liner
checkmate 01-14-2007, 07:18 PM I dont have a spray on liner in my new ride yet, but some friends of mine have had the Line X and it faded quite bad on both there trucks, have also been told this by others in the dealerships. Maybe just a fluke, it sounds like everyone on here has good luck with theirs. There is a new style spray on I looked at the other day that gives your truck bed protection plus cargo protection, its a good 1/4" thick and rubbery on the bed surfaces and can be color matched thru-n-thru with automotive OEM grade paint, its called REFLEX. www.reflextruckliners.com (http://www.reflextruckliners.com) Price for a 6' box in black here in west MI is $370. Might be something some of you may be interested in.
TOTHEMAX! 01-14-2007, 07:26 PM i spray reflex at my work. i also have one in my truck and i love it. its been in there for about 2 years and the only problem was it started to peel on the tailgate. that wasnt the liners fault but whoever did the spray didnt prep the truck right. i spray on average 2 a day
truckie481 01-14-2007, 07:29 PM I seem to be alone on this one but I like my Rhino lining. I have thrown fire wood at it from 15 feet and did no damage. To be fair though I have to tell you that I did tear it at the top of the tailgate when I dropped/dragged rough cut lumber on it. The dealer claimed the prep work was insufficent, he ground it off and resprayed the tailgate. I have been pretty rough on it since just to make sure it won't happen again and its held up. Oh yea, things stay exactly where I put them.
TOTHEMAX! 01-14-2007, 07:38 PM all sprayins will fade. if you go with the top 3: reflex, line-x, or rhino im sure it will give you years of worry free service. i see lots of crappy sprayins that were done by other companies every day. many of them have no "rubber" feel to them and are stiff. stay away from those! just go check out your local shops and see their finished products and make the decision yourself!

I here you, it's always the best advice for most everthing.
TruckDaddy 01-14-2007, 11:24 PM You don't have to put up with a fading bedliner anymore. LINE-X has a product called Xtra, made by Dupont only for LINE-X. It contains a Kevlar micro pulp and is extremely durable, much more durable than automotive paint. Xtra resists fading, resists loss of gloss, more stain resistant, is available in black or color matching. LINE-X and Dupont spent a year formulating this product. We are very fortunate to be able to offer such a product. Black Xtra has been out for about a year, colors became available a few weeks ago.
Here's black Xtra:

Tow Master 01-15-2007, 01:20 AM Ill throw another vote for line-x... I looked at trucks with both and ended up driving and hour further away to get line-x instead of getting rhino.
921500Z71 01-15-2007, 01:31 AM One of my buddys had a very bad experience with rhino which is why I went with line x about a month ago. The rhino guys didn't mask off the truck, they said it was too tall to mask off. So my buddy and I spent the next couple of days getting all that compound of his pretty fresh paint. Rhino gave him his money back and another free spray in but if you are in my neck of the woods look out for the rhino dealer there. I talked with the line x guy for probably an hour before I let him have my truck and they did a tremendous job on it. So far it has held but like I said its only a month old and it hasn't seen a lot of loads in it yet.
dmaxlover 01-15-2007, 06:52 PM Jason, I just had my Line-X done at Perfection Truck in Johnson Creek. He did a nice job.
cowdoc 01-15-2007, 07:27 PM Line-X

Line-X
jonesport 01-15-2007, 11:20 PM I have Line X with the Black Xtra-It looks awesome way better than my last rhino or inyati.
