well i bite the bullet and ordered my new gm900 hd.This is going to be my first personal diesel i have had a company cube van with one for years.I was a little unsure of the LMM but my dealer that i have a long history of buying new truck from said i would be very unhappy if i settled for the 6 litre.They said i should see it somtime in april.The msrp for the diesel and allison combo was ten tousand six hundred up here in canada witch i needed to be sitting for when me and the sales manager were putting the order in the computer.It's going to one big badass black crewcab s/b ltz loaded.

Terry, I'd like to reassure you that you wont be disappointed. I've had my 06 for 18,000 miles and I love every minute of it. It was also my first diesel, but I assure you that it wont be my last. I plan to order a black cc z71 08 when they are available.

Thanks guys i sure i'm going to be pleased it's a duramax after all.It will be a nice change after pulling my 25 foot travel trailer from bc canada to LA last summer with my 2005 1/2 ton with 5.3 and 4:10s and 7 miles per gallon lol:D

If that was the MSRP what was the otd price? Surely they are not asking that much for them out the door. If so then they can keep it, these trucks are nice but you can get an 07 classic comp equipped for 20k less.

Well went down to dealer today and was told truck was accepted for build and should know order number and build date next week:D .
