Hello everyone, i have beeen looking for a site like this to talk with other duramax owners. I recently have been looking for a programmer for my truck. It seems most people have been recomending the superchips powerpaq or the diablo. I do some hauling and am just looking for a programmer that will give me a little bit more performance. I have owned two fords prior to the chevy i bought and have been dissipointed in both especially the 05' 6.0 litre. My main concern is reliability and i do not want to do anything to jepordize this.(with the ford the tuner was a problem).

Super Chips Flashpaq is what I just installed a couple weeks ago and it's GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am even getting better fuel mileage on my last 2 fill ups.

What engine do youy have? LB7, LLY, or LBZ.

For the LLY, I would recommend the Diablosport Predator. For the LBZ, I recommend either the Edge Evolution or the Diablosport Predator.

Cowdoc I just purchased a Diablo do you know if they have any safety features that would cut power before hurting transmission?

PPE Xcellerator is great. I bought mine from McRat.

My LBZ tows my trailer and gets great mileage on Tune level 1, on Tune level 2 the power is excellent with no smoke and still good fuel mileage. On a trip to Calif. last week I drove approx. 1500 miles and when I got home my mileage AVERAGED 19.9, this was on tune level 2.

For AWSOME POWER try tune level 3, also a lot of smoke.

I just installed the Edge Evo and am happy so far. On the lowest setting it hauls loads very well. Without a load, I set it on the mid setting and it hauls butt.
