Hi, I went up to Camping World to buy my case of Stanadyne only to find they had none on the shelf. It's only $2.99 for a 16 oz bottle there. So I buy it by the case.

Anyway, they had a product called PRI there and said that is what they're now keeping on the shelves and recommending. Has anybody else been using this stuff? One bottle is supposed to treat "up to" 512 gallons!!

I did just order 2 cases of Stanadyne. They did nick me $20 for shipping straight to my house as they can still get it from their distributor.

Here is their website:

PRI G is something I have used for years in gasoline. It keeps the fuel fresh and my chainsaws, weedeaters and lawnmowers all start easy come spring. I've not used much of the PRI D so can't give an honest opinion.

Darn it. Camping World just called and said if I want the Stanadyne, the price would now be double the $$ from the distributor. What's up with that? I guess I'd better start hitting the truck stops looking for it.

never heard of the stuff, but the place that used to carry stanadyne up here is not going to be carrying it anymore. I would like to know what is up with that too.

I would be a little concerned as the product does not address the cold weather gelling issues. It does not mention anything about reducing diesel pour point temps, or cold filter plug point temps, both of which are necessary for cold weather use. You better keep some diesel 911 on hand in case of emergency. Just my opinion. Good Luck!

Buy Stanadyne on the internet. Many places sell it. Do a search for Stanadyne. I use Fueladditiveonline.com, and gmdieseltech.com.

Diesel 911 is made by power service and is what is used when you have a fuel emergency. Try this link http://www.powerservice.com/ and then click on products, and then products by name and click on the diesel 911. It explains much better than I.
